EMN Prevalence of diabetes in primary care

Diabetes mellitus is a disorder of carbohydrate metabolism in which sugars in the
body are not oxidised to produce energy due to lack of the pancreatic hormone
insulin.
Average percentage prevalence of diabetes (type I and type II) among people
ages 17 and above.
